Reviewed On: Quest 2, Oculus PC (Quest via Link) Wraith: The Oblivion – Afterlife Details: It can be a little rough around the edges at times, but it basically delivers on its promise of frights, intrigue and plenty of Alien: Isolation-style hiding. You don’t need to be a Masquerade fan though to step into the game’s sprawling mansion, dodge howling ghosts, and unravel a pretty interesting story centered around a cabal of Hollywood types who are suitably creepy from the get-go. Someone will offer you a quest, and when you complete it, you'll have an opportunity to sell Vampire Dust for a notable amount of money, so all you then have to do is clear out vampire dungeons.Īnd be patient - even if you don't really work at it, you're going to reach a point sooner or later when you'll have more money than you can spend.Wraith: The Oblivion – Afterlife is a single-player horror-adventure set in the storied ‘World of Darkness’ universe. In another level or so, spend some time around the Temple District. Note though that you do NOT want to do that if you have Alchemy as a major, since it'll make you level up too much too fast. Between the grapes and the tomatoes growing around Skingrad, you can make about 80 potions in one sweep. The best way to make a lot of money quickly that way though is to raid farms for their produce. You can make them out of any food items, and sell them for enough that you can even buy the cheapest food items, make potions out of them, and sell the potions for a profit.
Make and sell Restore Fatigue (or Stamina, depending on what mods you have) potions. Some specific things that are profitable, other than that: One of the best in the entire game is Greenmead Cave, which sits right next to the road on the way to Skingrad - it's a simple, medium-length dungeon with LOTS of chests (and an amusing boss). The best items are generally enchanted items (and especially jewelry), scrolls, potions and arrows, and the best source for those sorts of items are monster dungeons (the ones that have Scamps, Imps, Trolls, Minotaurs and the like). Sell your loot back in the city!" As noted in another response, pay attention to the weight to price ratio. In general, the best way is to do what Edgar (Edgar's Discount Spells) not coincidentally recommends - "Go down the holes, kill some monsters. A lot of the enchanted items shopkeepers sell are terrible and wildly overpriced compared to gear you can enchant/find yourself. I do wonder what you are trying to buy in the shops, though. That may sound tedious but potion making is incredibly fast (once you have a fat stack of corn and radishes lined up, it's literally button mashing). Even with low disposition, personality, and mercantile, each potion can sell for upwards of 10 gold (but try to haggle and persuade the vendor anyway).
After picking clean just a few farms, you'll have enough food to make dozens and dozens of these. Then, warp to any farm (there's usually one outside of each city) and harvest all the veggies.Īny two food items combined in the alchemy menu will create a restore fatigue potion.
